Really, why wasn't this the debut single?
It's the perfect combination of rap and pop with a big slice of humour, whereas 'Bad Ass Strippa' to me, made Jentina sound like she was taking herself way too seriously.
After purchasing a few more album tracks I do wonder why the record company felt they needed 'French Kisses' when 'Smoke' 'Gone' and 'Hard Times' would have made perfect singles.

From the sound of the clip I've heard, Gone sounds like a decent track.
The standout to me (again, from the 30-second clips I've heard) has to be Smoke. I'm looking forward to hearing the full song.
Talking of which, someone has kindly offered to send me a copy of the album, with mp3s on I think. Hopefully I'll get this soon. Of course, when I can get my hands on the released album, I'll buy a proper copy.

I think ideally Jentina's singles in 2004 should have been...
Mysterious (June/July) Smoke (October) Hard Times (December) French Kisses/Gone (February)

why "French Kisses" is not exited in Italy? I love the song.

Maybe it'll be the next single in Italy... It makes sense since they've already got a video made for it.

In Italy, would a No.30 warrant another single release?
Because it does seem that if they have a video and remixes ready, EMI might as well push ahead with the next single.
Either that or they're concerned 'French Kisses' is too 'pop' and so will release a brand new video and single!!

I'm not sure. The single certainly hung around the charts for a while, plus it got quite a lot of airplay, and it's not like they did any proper promotion for Jentina.
Well, that's pretty much all they did with Mysterious!
I think they probably will release another single. From what I've heard, EMI were planning on a kind of relaunch for Jentina, and they're using Italy to test the waters. If she does really well over there, they *may* bring her back over here.

Hmm.. I really can't see Jentina doing well in the UK, she's a joke to the British media and never made much of a mark first time round.
I want her to stay in mainland Europe and concentrate on doing well there, become more established before returning to home shores.

Yeah that makes sense. That's probably what EMI are planning, building her up in Italy and give her a credible reputation.
